When do UT’s Fall 2026 final grades come out?
Instructors must turn in Fall 2026 grades by December 14, 15, 16, or 17, depending on the day of the class’s final. Check them in View My Grades with your UT EID. A # means the grade wasn’t in when the report ran.

When are Fall 2026 grades due?
The due date depends on the day of the class’s final. Find your exam day in our Fall 2026 finals schedule, then match it below.
For example, an MWF 10 a.m. class has its final on Thursday, December 10, so its grade is due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, December 14. A class that meets at set times but has no final follows the date it would have had with one.

| Final exam day | Grades due by |
|---|---|
| Thursday, Dec 10 | Monday, Dec 14, 11:59 p.m. |
| Friday, Dec 11 | Tuesday, Dec 15, 11:59 p.m. |
| Saturday, Dec 12 | Wednesday, Dec 16, 11:59 p.m. |
| Monday, Dec 14 | Thursday, Dec 17, 5 p.m. |
| No set meeting times | Wednesday, Dec 16, 11:59 p.m. |

Where do I see my grades?
Sign in to View My Grades on UT Direct with your UT EID. The Registrar says grade reports are available to every student except School of Law students at the end of each semester.
If a grade isn’t there yet, check again after the due date in the table for that class’s exam day.
What do #, X and other symbols mean?
A symbol can appear instead of a letter grade. None of them count in your GPA.
Scroll the table to compare every column.
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|---|
| # | The grade wasn’t submitted in time for this report |
| X | The course grade is temporarily delayed |
| I | Permanent incomplete |
| Z | You’re registered pass/fail or credit/no credit |
| CR | Credit |
| NC | No credit |
| Q | You dropped the course |
| W | You withdrew from the university |
From One Stop’s grades page, checked November 4, 2026.
How will a grade change my GPA?
Each letter grade carries the points below. An undergraduate needs at least a D– to get credit for a course, and some departments require a higher grade for it to count toward the degree.

What if a grade is missing or looks wrong?
If you still see a # after your class’s due date, or a grade looks wrong, email the instructor with the course, unique number, and semester. Keep your graded work until it’s settled.
If you need a transcript with the new grade on it, choose Hold for Grades when you order. Our transcript guide explains the options.
What should I do once my grades post?
Run a fresh degree audit so the new grades count toward your requirements; our degree audit guide shows how. Then check that you meet the prerequisites for your Spring 2027 classes.
Spring 2027 tuition is due by 5 p.m. on January 5 for undergraduates who registered in November or December. Our registration guide lists every deadline.
How we got this
Grade due dates come from the Registrar’s Fall 2026 grade-reporting page. Symbols, grade points and the D– credit rule come from One Stop’s grades page. Both were checked November 4, 2026.
The due dates are the instructors’ deadlines to submit grades. Your own grades appear in View My Grades, and a grade change follows UT’s process with your instructor.
