What are UT’s next registration dates and deadlines?

UT’s spring 2027 registration runs November 2–13, 2026, and your Registration Information Sheet (RIS) gives your personal access times, so the university’s first registration day may be earlier than your own. Fall 2026 undergraduates have until November 18 to Q-drop, withdraw, or change a class to pass/fail. All calendar deadlines are in Central Time.

Does this deadline apply to me?

Choose Undergraduate if you’re working toward your first degree. Graduate and law students have different add and grading deadlines.

For spring 2027, undergraduates can normally add through January 19. The graduate and law date is January 14. Read the student group next to each date.

Can these dates change?

Yes. Check the official calendar and your own bill or RIS before a deadline. A saved calendar subscription can lag behind a change.

One summer tuition-bill date needs clarification from UT. We leave that entry clearly marked instead of guessing its year.

Questions

When is spring break in 2027?

March 15–20. A break from classes doesn’t pause a payment deadline; the remaining tuition balance is due March 16 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

What time zone do the deadlines use?

Central Time. When UT gives a date without a time, we don’t add one.

How we got this

These are selected dates from the Registrar’s 2026–27 calendar, checked October 27, 2026. The official calendar has more deadlines and approval rules; your Course Schedule gives the dates for each class.

The May 4 entry for summer tuition bills says “Summer 2026” inside the spring 2027 section. Its year needs clarification, so we don’t call it a confirmed summer 2027 bill date. Exam ranges keep only the days UT lists.
